Ultrasonic "Dry Fogger," single-cyrstal unit. Works in about 2 inches of water. Must be submerged to operate. Will vaporize 80 ml of water per hour.

NEW TECHNOLOGY ULTRASONIC FOGGERS The devices below use piezoelectric crystals to vibrate the surface of the water at frequencies above the range of human hearing. The violently agitated water forms very small micro-droplets (1 to 10 microns range; “5 microns” refers to size). An additional benefit is that negative ions are produced in the surrounding air. The USDA is currently experimenting with dry foggers for whitefly control, with excellent results. The dry fog allows thorough insecticide coverage of leaf undersides, while using a much-reduced amount of pesticides. High-output “S crystal” dry ultrasonic fogger including a hydroponic buoy, diffuses 400 ml of water per hour. Powered by a 48-volt transformer, with a 32' long cord to the fogger. The buoy can be used to float the fogger inside an Aeromax or Aeroquad system to upgrade to a true fogging/aeroponics growth chamber.
